Rockhampton Little Theatre’s next production will be ‘Wolf Lullaby’ by Hilary Bell, directed by Anne Galvin.

A brief overview of the play:
A group of children discover the body of a baby boy while playing in the local park. It becomes obvious that one of them, Lizzie, knows more than she’s prepared to admit. Her parents, Angela and Warren, question her but Lizzie denies all knowledge of the death. Doubt creeps in as questioning by the local policeman, Ray, begins to reveal Lizzie’s dark imagination.

Cast required:
Lizzie Gael (daughter)
Angela Gael (Lizzie’s mother)
Warren Gael (Lizzie’s father)
Sergeant Ray Armstrong
Please note, this play has content involving death, and intense emotional and psychological themes. As such, the part of Lizzie, a 9 year old girl, will need to be played by an older person (an adult or older teenager). Angela and Warren need to portray parents of a 9 year old child. Sergeant Ray Armstrong is suggested to be an older man of around 50 years of age.
